Rowlett, Texas lies on the western shores of Lake Ray Hubbard in Dallas County. During recent years, Rowlett has shown its potential to a new breed of business and developers, resulting in a 400 percent growth since 1980. During the 1990's, Rowlett became one of the hotter new home markets and is currently making the most of its advantages, including a large chunk of the lake's 80 mile shoreline, the premier Waterview residential and recreational community, and a 130 acre multiple use park. The George Bush Tollway is also due to be completed through Rowlett in the next few years, providing easy access to other parts of the metroplex.
